Muttville Senior Dog Rescue believes every senior dog deserves a loving home, regardless of age. Founded in San Francisco in 2007, Muttville became California’s first rescue dedicated exclusively to senior dogs and the country’s first completely cage-free senior dog rescue. Instead of traditional kennels, every dog lives in a warm, home-like environment where they can socialize, receive individualized care, and simply enjoy being dogs while waiting for their forever families. To date, Muttville has helped more than 15,000 senior dogs find loving homes and continues to change the way people think about senior dog adoption.
